Welcome to Nursery!

Welcome back to Nursery!
We hope you had an enjoyable Easter break. We welcome you back to Nursery with our new topic “Where is my home?” We will be doing lots of learning around animals from all over the world and animals we might see in our gardens too.
Our sound table will continue from Monday 16th April with the initial sound ‘i’. Please support your child in finding an object beginning with ‘i’, this will help them with their phonics in Nursery.
Challenge books will be sent home each Friday; please can you ensure these are returned by Monday ready for the next challenge to be added? The books have helped gather lots of information about your child’s learning and they enjoy sharing their books with their friends in Nursery.
Our Parent reading sessions will continue every Friday at 11:am for Morning Nursery and 2:45pm for Afternoon Nursery.
Each child should have received information based on their part in the Foundation Stage Wedding on Friday 18th May. If you would like afternoon tea after the wedding, please return the reply slip into Nursery. Donations for afternoon tea are due by Friday 27th April.
At least once every half term your child will be baking and we therefore request a small donation of £1.50 towards the cost of the ingredients; this money is due at the start of every half term. If your child has any allergies, could you please inform a member of staff as soon as possible, if you haven’t already done so.
Thank you for your continued support and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Please also look at our curriculum page for further information.
