Welcome to Nursery!
Autumn 1, 2019
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your family to our Nursery.
This half term our whole school topic will be ‘caring for creation’ where we will be taking part in lots of activities and discussions about ourselves, our environment and our planet and what we can do to make sure we look after them all.
We would like to invite all parents/guardians to several meetings concerning the Foundation Stage Curriculum, the dates and times are as follows on the bottom of this letter. We will also be introducing parent/guardian sessions at the end of every term where you will be able to come and play in Nursery with your child, there will be several activities set up around Nursery related to our topic, the first session starts on Friday 18th October at 11:10am for morning Nursery and 2:45pm for afternoon Nursery.
At least once every half term your child will be baking and we therefore request a small donation of £1.50 towards the cost of the ingredients, this money is due at the start of every half term. If your child has any allergies, could you please inform a member of staff as soon as possible, if you haven’t already done so.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child in Nursery, please do not hesitate to come and see me.
Miss Simpkin (Nursery Teacher)
