By now you should have received the letter, which was sent home yesterday about the lockdown practice that we have introduced with the children. The children were all very positive, and understood that it was a sensible precaution to practice if we needed to stay inside the building rather than evacuate. A number of governors were present when this was introduced and if anyone has any questions or would like to discuss this further, please feel welcome to speak to Mrs Navas, your child’s class teacher or one of the governors.
We do hope that you feel this is a positive step and part of our continued commitment to keeping everyone in school safe.
Thank you to everyone who baked cakes, bought cakes or supported our Foundation Stage children and staff with their fund raising Bake Sale yesterday. The money raised will go towards the purchase of more resources to further develop the
Foundation Stage outdoor area.
It’s half term already!
We break up today for half term. It has been a particularly busy few weeks, with years 2 and 6 completing their tests. Well done to them for their hard work!
Have a lovely half term break everyone.
We have a training day on Monday 3rd June, where the staff will be working on curriculum development and planning for the next year. We look forward to welcoming the children back to school on Tuesday 4th June.
