Felix is off to a flying start

Since we last saw our lovable Felix, he's come on leaps and bounds! He is now living with his puppy walker, Lorraine, in her home in Essex. Felix is the fifth puppy that Lorraine has puppy walked for Guide Dogs. "Felix settled in really well" Lorraine told us, "he's the most chilled out puppy I have ever had!" This is great news, as it is important that Felix remains calm and focused when guiding his future owner. Felix has made lots of furry-friends at some puppy walker coffee mornings. His best friend is a guide dog called Pam. Lorraine looks after her from time to time when her owner isn't able to. We're sure Pam has been teaching Felix how to become a great guide dog. Felix's puppy classes are coming on well. He has learnt all of his basic commands and has even recently mastered coming back to the whistle on a free run! In his down time, he has also learnt some special tricks like doing 'doggy puzzles' where he has to find a treat with his nose!

Boney Biscuit Friday

Guide Dog charity

As you already know, this week we have held a hot chocolate and biscuit morning for all children from reception to year 6. The money is going to the guide dog charity and so far we have raised 206.12. Altogether we need to raise 300 to sponsor a puppy so in spring we will hold a juice and biscuit morning and  possibly in summer we will be doing popsicles. Thank you to everyone one who has given a donation.
